Unemployed Learnerships - Learning opportunities October 2018
Skills development / learning opportunities in the sawmilling industry available in conjunction with FP&M Seta:
- 4 x NQF Level 2 Lumber Milling Learnerships (Employed);
- AET (Various levels - Communications Level 1, Communication Level 2, Communication Level 3, Numeracy Level 1B, Numeracy Level 1) (Emlpoyed);
- Saw Doctor Apprenticeships (Unemployed);
- Lumber Milling Learnerships (Unemployed);
- HR Internship (Unemployed);
- Accounting Internship (Unemployed);
- Wood technology National Diploma Work integrated learning / practical (Unemployed);
Requirements:
- For NQF Level 2, you should already have completed an NQF Level 1 learnership;
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in saw milling/lumber milling;
- Eagerness to learn and to achieve competency in all relevant unit standards/modules;
- Unemployed candidates - must have a willingness to attend daily classes in White River (nearby accommodation and/or transport available on daily basis);
- Employed candidates should discuss with their supervisors and get a recommendation;
- Valid grade 12 qualification or equivalent advantageous;
- Must be fluent in English as official business language;
- Must include a CV and/or letter of motivation / application letter stating clearly why you should be considered.
